Happy Faces Pre-School opened in Frosthole Close in April 2015. We have an excellent indoor space as well as a fantastic garden. The team of practitioners each have a  small group of key children, however, all staff work alongside each other to create an enabling environment for every child every day. The groups each have an animal mascot to help the children understand their group. The Flamingos, Tigers and Monkeys, enjoy daily group time with their key workers, as well as lots of free-flow time throughout the setting where they can enjoy messy play, role play, creative activities, exploring the curiosity cube and so much more. The children can also be seen exploring different ways of travelling in the garden, using the bikes and scooters, as well as getting to know the natural world around them through the mud kitchen. The staff use a communication book system to improve communication with parents and carers in which every child's key worker will write a small message, outlining the child's week and the parents can respond to these as well as informing the practitioners of any important information about their child.
